------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A comprehensive rework of Dragonbone weapons
Have you even wondered why master blacksmith, who reached max Smithing level, would ever attach Dragon femur to a stick and call that a "warhammer"?
Or why Dragonbone dagger is so CHONKY?
Or why Dragonbone sword has such a weirdly-shaped blade?!
Did you find Dragonbone weapons lacking visually, compared to daedric alternative? Well, if your answer to any of these is YES, then I hope my mod will help you alleviate the issue :) Features:
Greatsword:
- Added reflectivity and shininess to the mesh, as vanilla one weirdly didn't had these enabled.
- Made wavy pattern on hilt gilded and easy to see.
- Added Dragonborn golden symbol and inscription, saying "Norok", which stands to "Fierce".
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
Sword:
- Made existing symbol golden.
- Reshaped the blade to be more in line with greatsword.
- Added similar wavy patterns to it's hilt.
- Added golden inscription saying "Krii", which stands for "Kill"
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
Dagger:
- Made existing symbol golden.
- Reshaped entire blade, handle and hilt, overall making it sleeker and longer.
- Added golden inscription saying "Lo", which stands for "Deceit".
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
War Axe:
- The axe blade is more curvy and the spike on top is straight now, instead of being curvy too.
- Added Dragonborn golden symbol and inscription, saying "Bah", which stands for "Wrath".
- The shaft is actually wood, so i changed it's color to be more "woody".
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
BattleAxe:
- This axe is now double-bladed, which certainly gives some Doom vibes.
- Also added golden Dragonborn symbol and inscription, saying "Mul", which stands for "Strong".
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
Mace:
- Added additional spikes on mace head, plus some boney details.
- Added golden Dragonborn symbol.
- Wood shaft (yes, it was wood, lol) is now more browny, woody color.
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
Warhammer:
- By far the most reworked weapon. Completely new design.
- Looks more like Greatmace than warhammer, but who cares?... It's a fantasy game.
- SPIKES EVERYWHERE.
- Has golden Dragonborn symbol and inscription saying "Fel", which stands for "Ferocious".
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
Bow:
- Made spikes more pronounced and pointy.
- Curved bow a bit more.
- Added additional spikes on opposite ends of the weapon.
- Properly colored the string (it was plain color without any texture).
- Added golden inscription saying "Nin", which stands for "Sting".
- Made metal and bone parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
Quiver:
- Only basic recoloring.
- Made metal and lleather parts darker while preserving reflectiveness.
Arrow:
- Minor recoloring.
- Made arrowhead pointy ends closer to each other, making it overall look bit more adequate.
- Made bone parts darker.
Some weapons have an optional, slimmer and sleeker, versions, which are made specifically for people using mods like
"Believable Weapons" or "LeonWulf's Better Shaped Weapons", so that weapons from this mod will be consistent with weapons from those mods.
Pick the version you want during installation.
I made sure to not miss any bugs, but some might have slipped still.
Let me know, and i will fix them asap.
Well, that's it, go on and enjoy it! (hopefully)
